EAR SURGERY

Otosurgery is our area of expertise which deals with surgery of the ear. Hearing loss caused by conditions such as fluid in the ear, past ear infections, punctures in the ear drum as well as otosclerosis (which is a hereditary disease), are treated with surgery: tympanoplasty, osteoplasty, stapedotomy, exostosis in addition to ventilation tube placement. We also treat cholοsteatoma, exostosis or osteomas of the external auditory canal.

Otosurgery may also include injecting medication into the middle ear to treat sudden hearing loss and/or deafness as well as treatment of vertigo from Meniere’s disease
